Mursia has also contributed this background: \"In 1160, Adelicia Maccabeo made a significant donation to the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. She granted the Augustinian canons the church of Saint Elijah the Prophet, located outside Adernò, and a portion of land with natural springs in the area of Scala Busigufe, near the fortress of Saint Leo. This area, characterized by a large theater-like depression, was bounded by the road leading to Silfium and other local roads. The day after Adelicia's donation, Roberto de Cremona, with the consent of his wife Maalda, donated a vineyard adjacent to the church. After Robert's death, Maalda and her daughter Aldearda granted additional land to the church, confirming the canons' interest in consolidating an extensive and well-defined property around the church of Saint Elijah the Prophet. In the 1280s, the friars purchased a large plot of land contiguous to their property, paying 534 tarì.
